A million million zeroes in my old painting.
In one of my earlier days I had been working on Paper and Pencil and my style had been to draw circles (millions and millions of them right next to each other)
A few days back .. burglers struck at our home. and messed up the whole home. This gave an opportunity to look at all those old painting photographs of mine. These paintings with millions of zeroes are my starting steps in the world of colours. and I love them all dearly. Unfortunatly all I have with me is just photographs of these works.
Attaching one of them for your perusal. above (Sorry for the poor picture its all my fault as its taken from a photo and not an original painting)
Painting is inspired from the forts of Mandu region.
As per MP tourism site
"Mandu is a celebration in stone, of life and joy, of the love of the poet-prince Baz Bahadur for his beautiful consort, Rani Roopmati. The balladeers of Malwa still sing of the romance of these royal lovers, and high up on the crest of a hill, Roopmati's Pavilion still gazes down at Baz Bahadur's Palace, a magnificent expression of Afghan architecture. Under Mughal rule, Mandu was a pleasure resort, its lakes and palaces the scenes of splendid and extravagant festivities. And the glory of Mandu lives on, in legends and songs, chronicled for posterity"
